| spa |

dc.description.abstracteng | The Genetic Resources Program (PRG) of the International Bioversity Alliance and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), houses one of the largest germplasm collections worldwide represented in three specific crops: beans, tropical forages and cassava. The sums of the three collections contain more than 66,000 accessions comprised in germplasm in the form of seeds (beans and tropical forages) and in vitro plants (cassava). These three crops are part of and serve as the basis for the supply of carbohydrates of vegetable protein, as well as animal in the agricultural and food systems of the tropical zone, and the custody mandate of these specific crops is due to the geographical position of the Alliance | spa |
