| Abstract(esp): | El objetivo esencial esta investigación fue comprender los significados que confieren los estudiantes de primaria en una institución rural al uso académico de textos narrativos en alumnos de tercer grado. Se empleó una metodología cualitativa, apoyada en diseño etnográfico para comprender la realidad educativa. Los resultados revelaron una variedad de respuestas emocionales, con mayor conexión en textos que despertaban curiosidad y transportaban a los estudiantes a mundos imaginarios o con moralejas. Se destacó la importancia de seleccionar material de lectura estimulante para fomentar la participación activa y el compromiso con la comprensión lectora. Además, se identificó el papel crucial de las técnicas de lectura en el progreso de la habilidad de lectura. |
| Abstract(eng): | The essential objective of this research was to understand the meanings conferred by elementary school students in a rural institution to the academic use of narrative texts in third grade students. A qualitative methodology was used, supported by ethnographic design to understand the educational reality. The results revealed a variety of emotional responses, with greater connection in texts that aroused curiosity and transported students to imaginary worlds or with morals. The importance of selecting stimulating reading material to encourage active participation and engagement in reading comprehension was highlighted. In addition, the crucial role of reading techniques in the progress of reading skills was identified. |
