Abstract(eng): | In ancient times, women could not be part of the theater, they could not act or represent any role in a play, so men adopted the characters that they could not interpret, they put on makeup, dressed like them and adopted the necessary gestures to play any role in the theater. A clear example of this could well be Shakespeare and his aesthetics which had a Victorian style, a very artistic aesthetic both in the way of dressing in which the embroidery on the garments was very present and where theatricality and romanticism always predominated. Many references can also be extracted from artistic movements such as romanticism, more precisely rococo. |
